St. Anastasia island
In the waters of the bay of Burgas is located the only inhabited island on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast – Saint Anastasia. The island has emerged since the eruption of a volcano, and as a result of storms and sea waves, strange rock formations have appeared - The Mushroom, the Dragon, the Fossilised Pirate Ship, and the Sun Gate. The piece of land is 6,5 km (4 nautical miles) southeast of Burgas, is placed between Cape Chukalya and Cape Atia.

Nessebar
Old Nessebar is the historical treasure of Bulgaria. As early as 1956, it was declared an architectural and archeological reserve of national importance.
