Burgas Creative Hub
Burgas creative hub is an NGO dedicated to stimulating creativity and innovation, increasing knowledge of the new digital reality, building awareness of the positive aspects of sustainable tourism, and filling the gaps between local life and digital nomadism.
As an organization, we are focused on increasing the understanding of the benefits of living in a multicultural environment among young people. We bridge the gap between local life and digital nomadism by organizing educational and mentoring programs, workshops and skills exchanges, art and sports camps.
The Burgas Creative Hub plays a big role in creating meaningful connections between the residents of Burgas and the influx of digital nomads. Digital nomads bring fresh ideas, skills, and global perspectives that can inspire and support local businesses and innovation.
In return, the local community offers digital nomads a deep connection to culture, traditions, and a sense of belonging.
This exchange enriches both groups, fostering mutual growth and understanding.
By encouraging interaction and collaboration we build a stronger, more inclusive community. Our mission is to create a harmonious environment where diverse perspectives can thrive and understand each other leading to a vibrant and dynamic society.
Past initiatives
During ‘Art Camp’ we invited young local artists at Burgas Coliving for a week of creative workshops, skill shares, mentoring programs and connecting moments.
The camp offered a chance for young artists to grow their talents, connect with other locals and digital nomads from around the word and enjoy the unique atmosphere of Burgas coliving.
In the regular coliving season (from May to October), we introduce Bulgarian culture to digital nomads by connecting them with the local community and encouraging sustainable tourism.
We organize visits to local homes, where nomads can experience traditional Bulgarian hospitality and cuisine firsthand and trips to nearby villages and natural sights.
By embedding the nomads in daily life and the local community, they gain a deeper understanding of the region’s history and gain a unique perspective on Bulgarian heritage.
And lastly, we have regular skill shares and workshops dedicated to educating young people on the values and opportunities of the digital age, sharing skills and experiences, and showcasing the digital nomad lifestyle.
